A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Searching for appropriate images on the Internet can be a very time consuming task. Try these tips for searching success:
  • Refine your search with carefully selected search terms that are directly related to your topic.
  • Copy and paste your search terms and try them in a variety of searches on a number of sites.
  • Some search engines have a special tab for image searches. Click the tab to limit your results and increase your success!
  • Remember to check the online subscription databases for photos, pictures, cartoons and line-drawings.
  • Click on the MESMS Links link to the right. I have posted a number of sites that provide images.
  • If you need help, just ask!
